Rita Gigliotti is an award-winning teaching artist and owner of Melodia Studio in Oak Hill, Virginia. She has organized events with Grammy-award winning groups and her students have performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and Epcot in Walt Disney World. Rita combines the power of vocal training with research-based well-being techniques to develop young artists’ skills to sustain a career in the performing arts. The studio currently accepts students for 45 and 60-minute Pre-Professional and Standard voice lessons.
With over 20 years of experience in the performing arts, I've had the privilege of directing K-12 choirs in Fairfax County, Virginia, and have hosted numerous county, state, and international events, concerts, and musical theatre productions. As I now pursue my PhD in Music Education at George Mason University, I also serve as the Director of the Healing Arts Ensemble and an instructor for the Music for Well-being Program.
I do offer private voice lessons for young performing artists at my studio, Melodia Studio. I also periodically host workshops on Teacher Well-Being for performing arts educators and Music for Well-Being for wider audiences.
