Rita Gigliotti

Rita Gigliotti is a seasoned Music Educator and Music for Well-Being Expert with over 20 years of experience in K-12 Performing Arts Education, much of it rooted in Fairfax County, Virginia. As the current Director of the Healing Arts Ensemble at George Mason University, she guides students in exploring the transformative power of music. Rita also runs Melodia Studio, her private studio dedicated to training K-12 students aspiring to professional careers in the performing arts, with a focus on classical and musical theater vocal techniques. Beyond nurturing young performers, Rita is deeply immersed in scholarly research, with a particular focus on Music Education and advancing well-being for K-12 music teachers.
